Tigh na Cladaich (house on the shore) sits on the eastern Shore of Loch Tay within the picturesque Conservation Village of Kenmore.

The house, built in 1870, is an exclusive Private 5 bedroom Villa set within a large secluded garden with beautiful Loch views. This comfortable accommodation sleeps 10 people with generous living and kitchen areas.

The accommodation is ideal for a relaxing break with a group of family and friends or as a base to explore the surrounding Perthshire countryside.

The living space features a comfortable country-style kitchen with cooker, Microwave, Dishwasher, washing machine etc, Large Living room with open fire, TV/DVD/Video. 4 bedrooms on the upper, 1 on the ground floor floor and three bathrooms all with electric showers throughout. Electric heating. Smoke alarms. Fire Extinguisher.

The villa is within walking distance of the local Shop, Hotel, Bar and Restaurant. Ample Parking for vehicles and private secluded terraced Garden area.

Kenmore is a truly beautiful small conservation village set below the mountains of Highland Perthshire. Situated at the North East head of Loch Tay Its beauty, history and wide range of activities makes it a favourite with visitors from all over the world. Only 6 miles to the town of Aberfeldy and 15 miles to Killin, Kenmore is the ideal base to explore the surrounding Perthshire countryside with all its spectacular scenery and leisure facilities.

Loch Tay is 16 miles long and at its widest is more than one mile wide. Stretching from Killin to Kenmore the Loch is shadowed on either side by the Munros of Ben Lawers and Meall Greigh.

Loch Tay offers a full range of water sports, including fishing, canoeing, paragliding, rafting, yachting and pleasure boating. There are two main centres on the Loch: Highland Lodges and the Loch Tay boating centre.

  • There will be a £200 'Good housekeeping deposit' for this property. This will be refunded on receipt of a satisfactory housekeeping report. This is to cover any damage and breakages. The rental rate includes heating and electric. Coal/logs etc can be purchased locally and are not included in the rate shown. Please note that if paying by cheque you must allow sufficient time for your funds to clear. You can also pay by Bank Transfer or by PayPal. All charges for these services must be paid by the renter.

The master bedroom is large and has a superkingsized bed with ensuite toilet, bath, bidet and electric shower. The other three bedrooms are all comfortably furnished, carpeted and some have fantastic Loch Views. The downstair bedroom has two single beds. There is also a pull-down sofa bed in the living room that could accomodate another 2 children. We also have a travelcot and highchair.

We were 8 people and had a wonderful few days here. The house is very well appointed and comfortable. We went kayaking, canoeing, cycling and walking from here, what a great area! The pub at the Kenmore Hotel very handy, as was the general store/PostOffice. Thoroughly recommend this house for larger groups and families, whether just as a place to chill out or as a base for exploring the local area.

My family stayed at Tigh Na Cladiach for 3 weeks in August. The house exceeded our expectations. It is spacious, well maintained, tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished, in particular the modern kitchen and living /dining room. Quite comfortable for 10 family members, compromised of adults and teenagers. Located within a quaint village with local restaurants, pub and general store for essentials. Additional shopping and dining choices in Killin and Aberfeldy (10-20 min drive). Served as "home base" for day trips in all directions. Comfortable and relaxing at the end of a busy day. Enjoyed many meals "at home" with well stocked kitchen. Property management were attentive to needs and very pleasant to deal with. Three bathrooms with showers very handy. We enjoyed the Taymouth Castle, and Kenmore golf courses (both have rental clubs available) Lovely walking trail along the Tay River. Quiet , safe and secure location. Excellent choice for families or groups of 6-10 people.

Staying with 7 adults and 1 little child
enjoyed walking and golfing. Excellent service of the housekeeper. Touristic attractions were closed in christmastime. We hope coming again and recomment this property to our friends because of a lot of space in an comfortable house in an beautifull surrounding
