This apartment block is only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the town, but it still manages to retain a level of privacy that is really unusual for somewhere in such a central location. There are only a handful of apartments too, so it never really feels all that busy.
The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. There's a small swimming pool immediately outside which is ideal for people with young families. If you really want to hire a car then there's a space to park, although navigating the back streets of Lagos is never anything less than interesting.
The charm of Lagos lies in the fact that its relaxed atmosphere welcomes people of all ages and so it makes it an ideal location for families with young children, teenagers, couples, oldies... There's a good range of bars and restaurants to choose from. Don't expect Michelin star quality, but then don't expect Michelin star prices either.
Oh, and the beaches are pretty good too.
We found the service offered by Destination Algarve to be excellent and would happily rent through them again.
