A modern one bedroom apartment on the top floor of a residential block set on a hill overlooking the bay of Meia Praia within a private walled secure condominium with landscaped gardens, a large infinity pool with children's' area, a tennis court, and car parking. Being on the top floor the penthouse apartment has stunning panoramic Atlantic ocean views from all rooms and the sunny terrace and enjoys cool sea breezes. The condominium is only 600m from Lagos Marina, and 1000m from the sandy beach and the town of Lagos, yet is far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The apartment has ceramic tiled floors, a double bedroom with fitted wardrobe, and a spacious lounge opening onto a sunny terrace perfect for a glass of wine and alfresco meals while you admire the view. The kitchen is fully fitted and opens directly onto the terrace. The full bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath. There is SKY satellite TV in the lounge and a sofa bed which opens into 2 singles and is ideal for children. Facilities: : Free WiFi, Central Heating; Elevator; 32' Flatscreen Satellite TV; DVD player; Dedicated car parking; Video entry phone.

Starter food packs and Maid service can be provided on request.

Being on the top floor this penthouse apartment has no noise from above.

The apartment is registered under the Portuguese Juridical Regime for Touristic Developments (RJET) as a Alojamento Local (AL) (Licence No. 22277) and complies with all safety and hygiene requirements for tourist purposes.

The apartment is managed by local management agents in Lagos who will provide any help and assistance required during your holiday.

Car Hire: : Recommended. You can collect a car from Faro airport and enjoy a pleasant 1 hour drive to Lagos along the new Motorway.

Estimated walking times to the marina (600m), beach (1000m), and town (1000m) vary between 5 - 10 mins to the marina, and 15 - 30 mins to the beach and town. There is a dedicated car parking slot at the condominium for your hire car and there are car parks at the marina and beach and in town, so if you are feeling lazy and have a hire car you have the option of taking your car.

At the picturesque Lagos Marina there are restaurants, bars, and cafes overlooking the moored yachts. Wireless Internet is available. The historic town of Lagos is only a 1Km walk away over the marina bridge and has a vibrant array of bars, shops, and restaurants. There is a SuperMarket a 10 minute walk away, and a convenient MiniMarket and Bakery just across the road from the apartment for fresh croissants for breakfast. The still relatively undiscovered, jagged coastline of the western Algarve is a maze of golden beaches and sandy coves and is said to be Europe's most consistent surf region. Meia Praia beach is one of the longest beaches in the Algarve and sun-loungers, parasols. and surf boards can be hired. Along the sandy beach are a number of laid back beach bars. Lagos is a perfect location for all the family as there is something for everyone. There is a taxi rank along the main street, a local Zoo, and water parks approx 30min drive. There are 3 golf courses close by.

Other Activities: water theme parks, Dolphin Seafaris, sunbathing, dining alfresco at local restaurants, wine tasting, relaxing.

Great Apartment, Great Spot

The apartment had everything we needed, including lemon squeezer and egg cups (something missing from a lot of self catering apartments we have stayed in). The rooms were all of a nice size and we felt very comfortable. It was a pleasure waking up to a clear, nothing in front of you, view of the sun rising over the sea. It is in a great location within easy walking distance of the Marina and the shopping area of Lagos. We walked everywhere, choosing not to hire a car during our visit, and we had no problem with getting supplies in from the local Pingo store, although we are adept at packing the heavy stuff in our ruck sacks. All in all a great apartment, in a great location, and one we could highly recommend. Malcolm, the owner, and Maria, the agent, were very helpful all the way through and the instructions given to us beforehand made getting there and in very easy, helping to make our stay enjoyable from the start.

Lovely Holiday

We stayed in this apartment at the beginning of September and had such a lovely holiday. The apartment was great with everything we needed and more. It was very spacious and looked even nicer than in the pictures. The weather was perfect (34*C) all week, and we enjoyed sunbathing in the garden then cooling off in the pool. The food in Lagos was also great, we tried many of the restaurants at the marina and on the beach (Lindas Bar was our favourite). I definitely recommend this apartment as its suits everyone of all ages (suited us as a young couple perfectly). We look forward to returning in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The description was exactly as the owner said, only better seeing it in real life! We have never had such a wonderful view and this was our 7th year in Portugal.It was very comfortable, more than adequate space for 2 to 4 people, a super kitchen and lovely lounge, fully equipped with Sky TV, which I used for the radio in the mornings. The balcony was a delight, and that is where the view is just stunning. We just loved it. The pool area is also wonderful, no rushing to reserve a sunbed as the owner has provided two beds, which are named. Wonderful not to have to rush down early with towels to reserve!
As I said, this apartment ticked every box for us, and we really would like to be there next year, as there are still parts of the Algarve we want to explore.

Lovely apartment

We have just spent 10 days staying in Malcolm's lovely apartment. It was very comfortable, bright and airy with very nice pool and garden area. The complex felt very secure and was lovely and quiet at night being just the right distance from town.
We would definitly book it again as it ticked all the boxes for us. Malcolm was a pleasure to correspond with and everything worked a treat.

We had a lovely time in this apartment which was extremely well equipped and near the marina. I would recommend a car as it is situated at the top of a hill but the views are spectacular and the gardens a delight. Malcolm was very easy to contact and returned the deposit quickly which was appreciated. Unfortunately it wasn,t great weather for the pool but in summer it would be great. Amenities first class,, highly recommended, particularly for a couple.
