3 bed, 2 ensuite and 1 bathroom, room converts to 4th bedroom sleeps 10

Our privately owned spacious villa is fully equipped to a high standard and is full of character. Fully air conditioned and centrally heated (for those chilly nights in the winter. ) Amenities include a bar in the Portuguese style lounge (not fully stocked) but you can buy your own chilled wine in the nearby supermarket, which is just a short walk away. A beautiful non-overlooked pool including a baby pool and a pool shower. We have a barbecue on the terrace where the sun shines all day and into the evening. Fully fitted kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. Stunning views across valley to sea view. 2 championship golf courses 2kms. Carvoeiro 10 mins drive. beach 5 min drive. Carvoeiro tennis 5 mins walk. No extra charges for cot/spare bed. All linen and towels are provided however please bring your own pool/beach towels. Electricity, Water, Maid Service weekly and Fully Air Conditioned/Heating are all included in price. ALL PRICES QUOTED ARE BASED ON 6 SHARING VILLA PER WEEK. WIFI INTERNET ACCESS CONNECTION -

Beautiful views across valley to sea.: There is plenty to do for all nearby. Two championship golf courses are closeby together with the Carvoeiro Tennis Club with all amenties is just a 5 minute walk away. The villa is situated in a small cul de sac and therefore no noise at night from scooters etc., Walking along the valley opposite is a stunning way to start and finish a day.

We have internet in our villa, however this is only accessed through your laptop.

Where to visit: There are loads to do. In particular why not eat at the quaint town of Portimao where Sardines are cooked on the barbeque the traditional portugese way. The shopping is good here as well. Beaches in Carvoeiro are stunning and the caves/coves are a great way to search for shells. There are two waterparks the AQUA PARK and SLIDE and SPLASH well worth a visit. Also a Zoomarine is also worth a visit. If you go further inland the beautiful and stunning Monchique is well worth a visit (take your own empty water bottles).Ferragudo is a beautiful and traditional fishing village a must to visit.

Travel like the portuguese: The new motorway is a must to use to get about and see the local people. Take a trip to the town of Sagres and eat traditional cataplana by the quayside - its beautiful. Another quaint town is Tavira which is well worth a visit. Closer to home try the local restaurants in Benegil a definite must to visit. The beautiful and stunning unspoilt Ferragudo is a must to visit and is only a short drive away.

Sesmarias Carvoeiro is a traditional village in the Algarve where the people are friendly and restaurants are plentiful. Our villa is situated just outside Carvoeiro a 5 minute walk away from the famous Carvoeiro Tennis Club.The small village of Sesmarias has a local supermarket and bars. Our villa is just 45mins from Faro Airport and the new motorway makes this an easy drive.

Other Activities: Golf and tennis and famous slide and splash water park

Golf: Two championship golf courses are nearby.The famous Pestana golf course is 5km away.

  • 1 double bedroom upstairs with own terrace and very large sun bathing area and shower ensuite completely private. Downstiars on the main floor we have 2 twins bedrooms one with own ensuite shower room and one with family bathroom. We also have a double sofa bed which converts to a double bed which fits in nicely into the winter conservatory room and in the dining area a very large double sofa bed - which sleeps 10 in total. In the dining area the extra large settee converts into a further large double bed. We can also provide extra foldaway beds and cots and highchairs at no extra charge.

Notes:
Although our villa will comfortably sleep 8, we can accommodate 10-12 people as we have also 2 foldaway beds which you can use in the large bedroom areas or lounge/dining area. Please ask for further details. I am sure we can accommodate you. DVD player also provided so bring your own films. We do not have a set changeover day and try to be as flexible as we can to our clients. If there is a special need or you require assistance then please do not hesitate to ask. We have stairs up to the villa front door but other than that you can easily walk around our villa on the main floor area which just two steps down to the main tv lounge area.

A lovely stay

The villa is completely private and not overlooked. The view is really wonderful. The local village in Sesmaries has some good bars and there is a fantastic italian on the corner called Donato which is very good value for money and can walk home from there in around 10 to 15mins. Overall the villa has everything you could wish for and is not too far from the village of Ferragudo or the other way to Carvoeiro. I will definately be returning.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Great Villa

This was a third year at Villa of Peace and we are booked again this year for another stay. This is our favourite time of the year and are looking forward to having a nice rest. The local village of Sesmarias where Rosa's bar is makes lovely snacks and the drinks and food is very cheap. The locality of the villa is excellent in that there are a few bars and restaurants in the Village of Sesmarias but only a 5 minute drive to Carvoeiro and Ferragudo is a must for more bars and restaurants and the beaches are fab. Our favourite is the pool it is so private and the sun terraces are private and have great views. Keep up the good work Anne and Pete,

Had a lovely time in your villa over the Christmas and New year and the new decor to your villa is lovely. It was like being home from home with everything we needed over the Christmas and New year. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and the pool is stunning in the evening with the pool lights on. The weather was lovely which made this stay even more enjoyable.
Will definitely book again as this is our third year at your lovely villa.

Lovely stay

I recently stayed here for a week with my family and we all agreed the villa was lovely, spacious and clean in a quiet and pretty valley. It is near to a supermarket, pizzeria, and a short drive or 30min walk from the beach. Thanks go to Anne who was very helpful and answered any questions promptly. The only downsides were that unfortunately the TV and DVD player didn't work properly (which Anne tried her best to solve), and we had also arranged to vacate at 12pm but the cleaners turned up at 10am which meant we had to quickly pack up and leave. Overall a very pleasant stay and I recommend the villa very highly.
Owner's Response: Thank you very much for your lovely review and I am very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our Villa of Peace. I am sorry that you had trouble with the DVD as I understand that you could not play your own dvd's on this although you could play the ones that are supplied at our villa. My Manager, who looks after the villa found the fault to be the scart lead. We are now changing this dvd player to a new one and this will be installed at the end of this week.
You state that you arranged to leave the villa at 12pm but this should have been arranged at the time of booking as on our booking form it clearly states "special requirements" which includes staying longer due to flight times etc., We are always very flexible with a changeover times and if you had stated that you wanted to leave later then I could have arranged with our cleaner to arrive later than 10am. We are always happy for our clients to stay later but this has to be arranged at time of booking your flights and booking our villa. Unfortunately in this case, our Clients texted the Gardener who has a Portuguese mobile and did not receive the message. The best way was to have text me direct and I would have arranged a later departure from our villa.
I hope this has not put you off and I do hope you book with us again.
