1 twin bedroom + 1 basic children bedroom, 1 bathroom

Unique villa with rustic charm; a special little hideaway in a perfect setting, actually built into the cliff face of Carvoeiro. The villa enjoys hypnotic views of the sunset and the ocean; the ideal villa for romantics who appreciate warm lazy evenings and who will find the sunroof of special benefit. All one has at the bottom of the garden is the sea. The village is literally a few minutes downhill by foot, therefore car hire is not necessary.

A newly fitted kitchen was installed in 2010.

An architectural gem and an idyllic hideaway

Casa Refugio has given us a most wonderful week of peace and sunshine. It is so well located, being moments from the heart of Carvoeiro, yet it feels as though you are miles from anywhere. We breakfasted on the terrace each morning and marvelled at the view of the Altantic. We lazed by the pool and listened to the small boats chugging by. We wandered to the shops and restaurants and enjoyed the occasional coffee or beer.

Yes, you guessed it... we LOVED it. We will be back!

it's a very nice house with a beautiful view and without any noise very very calm
5 minutes of the center of Carvoeiro and the beach

Amazing

Just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday at Casa Refugio. Thank you so much - we loved the place and will be looking to return maybe next year. The villa had everything we needed and I didn't see another villa in the town we would have swapped ours for, amazing location and very private. The weather was good too, a little cold when we arrived (we needed the heater the first couple of evenings) but was 30 degrees on Wednesday. The maid was very efficient and we met Mario, who seemed really nice too. We had a small breakage which I informed Mario about - the top of a pot container in the kitchen. I am happy to pay for a replacement obviously if you let me know how much I owe.

Thank you again, we will be in touch about next year.

Just superb

We are now back from our stay in Portugal since two weeks already but we are still delighted of our stay at the villa Refugio.

We enjoyed it so much. Perfect in any sense. We have had a great holiday and we would like to thank you. We also would like to ask you if you could tell the owners of the house that we thank them for sharing their home (such a piece of heaven) with us. We will certainly be back in spring next year if possible.The housemaid was very nice and efficient too. The whole organisation actually was fantastic.
