BEST TERRACE IN PRCANJ - Featured on 'A Place in the Sun' 2013

Second year running we rented this apartment - incredible views and a really restful break. Great food, and this time we travelled more - went up into the hills and the national parks... Comfortable base with great aircon.. very helpful owner - love it!

This is a fantastic apartment with the most stunning roof terrace offering views over the bay of Kotor. The apartment is in a charming old stone house and perfectly located to enjoy the lovely town of Kotor. Charming place and very nice owner who has decorated the apartment very tastefully and thought of everything.

Wow! This was a perfect place to spend two weeks of our holiday this Easter.

We flew from Gatwick to Dubrovnik where we stayed for 3 nights - which is a great way to start - although Tivat airport would have been much closer.

The apartment is spacious, pristine and fantastically situated. You can swim from the little jetty outside the house and there's a bus stop with buses hourly to Kotor or Tivat and a well-stocked shop within a few paces of the front door. From Kotor bus station you can visit the rest of Montenegro and beyond.

The terrace really is as good as it looks in the picture and it's a perfect place to watch the world go by on the water. The view is so spectacular that it's hard to believe you're actually there.

There are restaurants within walking distance (although we didn't visit them) and plenty of places in Kotor.

My elderly mother with mobility difficulties had no problems as one of the bedrooms, the kitchen, one bathroom, the lounge and the exit onto the terrace are only one floor up. The other bathroom and two bedrooms are up a steep set of stairs that are like a large ladder which she couldn't have managed. The road around the bay in either direction is flat and provided easy walking for us, although the hills behind offer trails for more able visitors.
