Gharb is a traditional Gozan village just a few kilometres beyond the Islands Capital, Victoria. The house is located in a quiet alley just 200 metres from the church and is surrounded by many other similar houses of character dating back some 400 years and more. The village is set in a quiet rural area yet is just 10 minutes from some of the finest beaches and bays on the island and with many country walks available immediately from the villa. The village itself has just one supermarket, one mini market and one restaurant but there is, for some strange reason a Scottish 'Rangers' Bar close to the church. For all other services and a wide choice of restaurants head for Victoria just ten minutes drive by car or bus. The local 'natives' are very friendly and will extend a warm welcome to all visitors and English is widely spoken
Other Activities: Every weekend one can celebrate a feast on the island with fireworks and bands
