From the 3 large windows you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella and its square. This elegant apartment is on the second floor within an historic building, finely restored and furnished according to the traditional Florentine style. It consists of an entrance hall, a bedroom with twin beds and wardrobe, a bathroom with shower, a living room with table, sofa bed for 2 people and the kitchen. It is situated in the heart of Florence so that in a few minutes walk you can reach the Duomo, Old Bridge, Piazza Signoria, and the Uffizi Gallery. Nearby you will find antique dealers, and the most beautiful Italian and international boutiques of the most famous fashion stylists. In San Lorenzo square there is a permanent outdoor market where you can buy leather, clothes, and other typical Florentine products.

Florence is famous in the world for its medieval city centre. The Basilica of Santa Maria Novella is the oldest church and is a real museum full of very old frescoes and paintings. Every building has his own history and when you are there you can really feel this special atmosphere. Even the surroundings of Florence are unique: Fiesole is a very nice old town overlooking the city centre with a fantastic panorama; Chianti hills are very famous for wines and the olive oil but also for their special landscapes and for their typical small old towns.

This is truly a fantastic apartment owned by very nice people - Italians who speak excellent English and can't do too much to help you. We were met outside the apartment by the owner who showed us round and explained everything to us. It is literally a five minute walk to the Duomo in one direction and the station or coach station in the other. A supermarket is also 5 mins away and there are numerous restaurants catering to all tastes. It is very comfortable with everything you need and overlooks the square (currently undergoing complete restauration - which did not spoil our stay) and perfectly located for those wishing to visit Florence but not hire a car. The owners keep it very clean and it has a lovely atmosphere. It is located in a block which is very quiet as most of the other apartments are businesses which are closed at night. I cannot recommend it too highly as am excellent base from which to see all the sites of Florence.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

We stayed here for 5 nights in November. The place was exactly as seen in the photos and really easy to find from the train station. We were met by the owners Mother who was such a sweet lady! Perfect location within walking distance all the sites. Place was really clean and comfortable. The only downside i would say would be the hot water! I would stay here again and have recommended this place to all my friends!

Great apartment, ideal location

This was an ideal apartment for our week in Florence. It is located close to the railway and bus stations, shops and the central market, and within walking distance of all the main tourist sites of the city. The apartment was very clean, and well equipped with good quality furnishings, fittings and utensils, making it easy to self cater when we wanted. The views of the Square and Bascilica were better than expected, and we were lucky to be in Florence when a regional food fair was being held in the Square. The White Night celebrations were a great experience for us. Thank you to the Benvenuti's for their personal welcome and farewell, for ensuring that there were plenty of maps and brochures available in the apartment and for their recommendations for good restaurants, where to shop and for sites to see. We will certainly be recommending this apartment to any of our Australian friends planning on visiting Florence.

This is a great place to stay in Florence. The apartment is ideal for a couple with one or two kids. The views over Santa Maria Novella square are unforgetable.
The owner and his charming family were the kindest landlords one can imagine. We look forward to visit the city again and we will undoubtely choose the same "home" there.

Well, all I can say is that this apartment is fantastic. Precisely as described, with an amazing location and view, in central Florence. While central, and so a little noisier than a secluded villa in the countryside, the noise is not intrusive, and the facilities in the kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom are all top notch. The owners were so helpful and welcoming too. I can not recommend this highly enough and would recommend to anyone.
