Olbia-Tempio is a province on the Italian island of Sardinia. Much of the tourism in the region revolves around the glorious coastline, but agro-tourism is beginning to take a hold, as the unspoilt countryside is perfect for relaxing and walking. There are many fascinating Roman remains which adorn the countryside. The Holy Well of Sa Testa is one of Sardinia’s most important sites.

Budoni is a great seaside resort between San Teodoro and Posada. With 18km of beaches on the Tyrrhenian Sea, the small, traditional village offers everything you could wish for from a beach holiday. If you are looking for traditional lifestyles, Budoni is the centre of many of Olbia-Tempio’s folklore festivals and fiestas, despite the village being over-run with tourists during the summer months.
Porto Cervo is the centre of the Costa Smeralda, and a very popular tourist destination. The luxury Yacht Club of Costa Smeralda is a great place to sail and take to the waters. One of the best beaches in the region belongs to Porto Taverna though.
Summers in the Olbia-Tempio region soar to over 30°C daily during July and August, but from May until October, average temperatures remain above 20°C, and are often much higher during the day. Even during the winter, temperatures remain above 15°C, making an Olbia villa a great place to escape the British winter.
