The temperature in Northern Italy does not get as hot in summer as the south, but average maximums in the Alta Pusteria area are around 29 degrees centigrade in July and August. Temperatures normally stay in the 20 degree centigrade area between May and September. October is usually the wettest month of the year with an average of 110 mm rainfall. This ski resort gets plenty of snow during the winter season.
Verona Airport (VRN) is approximately one hour and 45 minute’s drive from Tiers in the region of Catinaccio-Latemar. There are flights to Verona from many other European airports such as Amsterdam (AMS), Athens (ATH), Berlin-Tegel, Brussels-South Charleroi (CRL), Dublin (DUB), Edinburgh (EDI), London-Gatwick (LGW), Madrid (MAD), Moscow-Domodedovo (DME) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) amongst others.
