This architect-designed holiday home of an English professor and writer combines traditional Asian and modern Western elements. The spacious accommodation comprises three stylish bedroom suites (one in a self-contained guest house), large reception, office and an attic/TV room. The villa contains a wealth of Buddhist and Balinese artefacts and antiques. The veranda with dining table and day bed, overlooks secluded pool and spectacular tropical gardens. The garden extends to the river and contains 2 pavilions with cushions or sofa. There are water features, stone carvings and shrines, and an infinity pool (10 X 4 metres) surrounded by palms, giant ferns, orchids and bougainvillea. In an unspoilt village location with local temples, the villa is only 15 mins from Canggu beach, and 25 mins from the smart restaurants and shops of Seminyak.

Our guests mainly come from England, France, Germany, Russia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia - the staff speak some English, and manage to communicate with guests from most countries.
A two-centred holiday: Visitors to Bali who would like to see more of the island might like to consider combining a stay at this villa with our other property in Bedugul. As well as golf, there are other outdoor pursuits in Bedugul to take advantage of the cool, fresh air. Boating, trekking, fishing etc.
The two properties are very different and although they are only one hour's drive apart, the climate in Bedugul is much cooler.
If you are interested in golf, then the two villas combine to give you close access to two of the most picturesque golf courses in Asia. The Nirwana (managed by Le Meridien) is at Tanah Lot. The Pancasari Country Club is a spectacular course in the crater of a volcano adjacent to property no 85226.
We will arrange transfers between the two properties, food and provisions to take to Bedugul and the villa manager will look after all your needs in both properties.
