Golf: There are three excellent golf courses within 20/30 minutes from La Roseraie:
***GC Château des Forges
Set in a 600 acre domain, this beautiful design by Björn Eriksson features 27 holes, playable all year round, with something for every golfer. The Blue Course is flat and wooded, the White features several water hazards and the Red has large, undulating greens to test low-handicappers.
***Haut Poitou
A long par 73 with a particularly tough, wooded back nine and a flatter, water-strewn outward half.
***Golf Club de Poitiers,
Challenging and relaxing is perhaps the best way to describe this attractive 27 hole course on its 110 hectares of unspoilt countryside. It is challenging because of its undulating nature, lakes, bunkers and fabulous greens. It is hardly ever necessary to make a reservation, just enjoy the course and take your time. The practice area has 25 driving bays, and one of the best short game facilities in France.
