Children - considered

Superior quality: We bought this apartment for our own use as we live in Gent - Belgium and love to go to Paris as often as possible.

From the coffee-maker ( Siemens by Porsche ) to the TV -set ( Bang & Olufson ) to the art-work ( Lisa Holden ), all is done to lift this apartment to the highest level.

Neighborhood: The address is Rue de Rochechouart in the 9th arrondissement. When we bought it we were looking for a neighbourhood with bon rapport qualité/prix.

We wanted good food shopping, good local transport, good neighbourhood ambiance with squares and cafes. This neighbourhood has all of that in spades. Now it's becoming trendy.

To the North the street is cornered by the Avenue Trudaine - a really beautiful avenue with lots of flowers and trees.

This avenue is considered to be amongst the nicest and certainly calmest in the whole of Paris.

There are many schools and the Square d'Anvers is home of the best children's playground of the Right Bank

Crossing Square d'Anvers and Boulevard de Rochechouart brings you at the Butte Montmartre.

That's 5 to 10 minutes walking.

The area ( quartier ) has seen a major change during the last 5 years.

Many trendy restaurants attracted a young and wealthy clientèle making the whole area very hip .

Foodies heaven: Not only is the famous bio-market on Fridays a high-light for the neighbourhood... foodies - paradise streets like Rue des Martysr and Rue Lepic are a few blocs away.

We LOVED this place!

Review Submitted: 29 October 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
For anyone considering a stay at the Luxury Loft, i can't say enough good things about our stay. My partner and I stayed only two nights in the Loft this past August. And from the emails before our arrival, our reception by the caretaker Faye till the time we left, we LOVED this place.

When making arrangements to stay, we received first class help with all of our questions and concerns. Restaurants and local hangouts were even suggested.
When we arrived Faye was warm, welcoming and full of helpful suggestions and assured us that she would be available if we should ever need her. She gave us a tour of the apartment explaining all of the HIGH END details of the Loft. WoW what a sound system, LOVED THE BATH TUB!!!! And every morning I enjoyed perfect coffee from the gourmet built-in cafe/espresso machine.
The apartment and neighborhood was safe, clean and quiet. Locals were much more friendly than tourist locations.
My next visit to Paris will include a much longer stay at this fabulous Loft.
Take full advantage of the incredible lighting system and the glass wall that crystalized for privacy at the touch of a button. Very Cool.

Thanks again!

Wonderful!

This is a fantastic apartment. It has everything we needed for a perfect long weekend in Paris - the kitchen, the bath(!!), the coffee machine, the sound system. It was all great. The location was even better than I had hoped for, a five minute walk from Gare du Nord, the same from the Sacre Coeur, and lots of great little bars and cafes nearby - too many to give recommendations, just go out and find your own. We really felt part of a neighbourhood almost immediately.

One piece of advice - if you are taking a bath, plan ahead! It really is a big bath and takes a while to fill up!!

Again, thanks to Bieke for all your help. We had a great weekend and loved the apartment

Fantastic week in Paris

Review Submitted: 07 March 2011 Date of Stay: February 2011
My husband, niece and I stayed in the Romantic Loft apartment for five nights. It was wonderful. We couldn't believe how close it was to everything - supermarkets, the metro, Montemarte, Sacre Couer and a host of great little cafes, delis and restaurants. The owners are incredibly friendly and we were met by the wonderful housekeeper late at night, because we got a late flight. The apartment was central to everything, the shower amazing and it was a perfect place for the three of us to stay. We loved the selection of DVD's and books, the available food and beverage items in the fridge and the light and quietness of the apartment. It was like a little sanctuary in the heart of the city! It was a perfect base to explore everything from and we walked to the Louvre and could easily catch a bus to the Eiffel Tower. We had a fantastic time. Thank you!

Summer is for Luxury

5 out of 5
Review Submitted: 04 March 2011 Date of Stay: August 2010
I must confess: I am a fan, my family is a fan club. I have dedicated already a lot of my spare time to the apartments in Paris available for renting from this same owner. We had stays in every apartment and have enjoyed the different accents/flavors each of them is offering. I suggest you to listen to Vivaldi’s big four:summer is for Luxury.

Put away the wine and let the Champaign pop out of the bottle! You just have to open the window to take part of the Parisian life that you see down on the street. Going out in the morning to have a French breakfast, having a swim in the huge bath and then go out to experience Paris by night. Avoid going to sleep and brew your fresh cup of coffee in the professional machine.

Trés romantique

5 out of 5
Review Submitted: 04 March 2011 Date of Stay: January 2011
I had the pleasure to stay in two of the Montmartre Paris apartments whilst I was here in Paris - the Feng Shui apartment first and then the Luxury. This too had everything and more you could possibly want for a short or long term stay in Paris and went well beyond my expectations.

Once again, the use of space is incredible - no clutter at all as the kitchen can be hidden away, plus it has a large storage closet which stored my luggage and the copious amounts of shopping I had acquired. It is tastefully designed, light, airy, lots of windows and the lighting configuration - very very funky.

The bath is like nothing I've seen before. Huge! It easily fit 6 people for a cheeky and glamourous soiree that I had. In fact, on the first night there I had the lovliest surprise as I prepared for a solo relax in the tub. I had the TV on, delighted with a surround sound experience. My first challenge was choosing the music as the in-houes collection of CDs and DVDs is extensive OR picking one of the multiple music channels on cable - so many to choose from including English which is sometimes what you want when attempting Français all day. So after choosing a British music show I was initially disappointed that I couldn't see the TV from the bath due to the privacy screen that separates the two. Then I experimented with the switches (conveniently located next to the bed) and discovered that one magically turned the frosted glass to clear! I'd never seen anything like it. So my bathing experience - perfect.

I then put my fluffy white bath robe on, enjoyed an espresso and crawled into the king sized bed - so comfortable. Another discovery was the adjustment that allowed me to lift the back of the bed up so that I could continue watching a DVD comfortably (still awake from the coffee).

I have to mention that the Montmartre Paris apartment 'family' is fantastic. Madame Esteves made sure I had everything I needed on site and Bieke (the Manager) and Peter (the owner) ensured that my stay was nothing short of perfect.

I really can't recommend these apartments enough. It's more than a hotel it's a true experience.

Thanks again guys. I'll certainly be letting you know in advance when I'm back because I'm scared it's too good to be stay unavailable for long. All my best, Helen
