La Plagne is one of the France’s largest ski and snowboarding areas. There are actually ten different villages within the La Plagne ski resort, each purpose build with a unique style, from the wonderfully traditional village of La Plagne 1800 to the modern complex of Aime La Plagne. Located high in the Alps of Savoie, France, La Plagne has both reliable snow cover and an excellent array of snow sports to enjoy from La Plagne accommodation.
There is over 200km of pistes to explore from a La Plagne chalet to rent. The extensive lift systems link all the villages to one another and to the main skiing centres, as well as the vast Paradiski ski domain on the other side of an Alpine ridge, meaning that there really is no shortage of skiing in La Plagne! Ski holidays to La Plagne are perfect for any group, whether a family holiday, mixed ability group or group of experts looking for a challenge. Beginners are extremely well catered for, with learner slopes around each village and some very gentle runs between each village. Intermediate and expert skiers and snowboarders will be thrilled with the amount of off-piste skiing and fearsome black runs.
The evenings see a whole new range of attractions in La Plagne. There are over 50 restaurants, 10 clubs and countless bars to enjoy across the La Plagne ski resort, dispersed (although not evenly) across the villages. There are also a good range of winter activities for those who need a day away from the slopes during their La Plagne ski holiday. There is an ice rink, a large spa centre, ten-pin bowling lanes, a cinema, paragliding centres and outdoor (heated) pool and many miles of winter walking trails to enjoy.

Paragliding, rock climbing, bobsleighing, skating, ice climbing and themed walking all thrive during the summer months.
The many famous attractions of the Three Valleys are just over the ridge from La Plagne accommodation, easily reachable via the ski lifts of La Plagne. The Three Valleys is the largest ski domain in the world, offering over 600km of downhill pistes, as well as almost every winter sport facility you could possibly imagine. During the summer months, the Three Valleys becomes a walking, mountain biking and rock climbing centre of the highest quality.
