Lovely holiday home!
What a lovely holiday let - clean, comfortable and well-equipped - more so than many other properties that we have stayed in - a real 'home from home'.
We found everything we needed for a peaceful and interesting holiday, and the owner was most helpful when we contacted him over a minor query.
The location, just off the main road between Port Grimaud and St Tropez enabled us to see how the 'rich and famous' live, either by car (although the road can be very busy), or an easy walk to Port Grimaud or the nearer Cogolin Marina for the ferry across the bay to St Tropez. It also meant it was easy to to visit the beautiful beaches, picturesque hill-top villages and the lovely countryside. However, being well set back from the road, we were never bothered by traffic noise.
We enjoyed the pool - managing to swim several times in late April/early May, even though it is unheated.
We will miss - quiet meals on the terrace, sunning ourselves on the top balcony, and BBQ's on the deck overlooking the river. We will be back!
