This old mas is set in the midst 2 acres (6.000 m2) of olive grove with breathtaking panoramic views of Les Maures, the mountain range between the valley and the St. Tropez bay.

At walking distance from the perched medieval village of Flayosc with its many shops, restaurants and bars.

The house has recently been restored to a high standard with 3 bedrooms, of which 2 are on the ground floor and the third is a family bedroom on the first floor, 1 shower room with WC, 1 separate WC, sitting room with fireplace and spacious well-equipped kitchen.

South-facing terrace overlooking the olive grove and a large private swimming pool (12 x 5).

The property is very private - but far from being isolated.

An ideal setting for a family or a group of friends sharing their holiday. The pool is situated 8-10 meters below the house.

The village: Flayosc is the perfect location to relax and enjoy the beauty of Provence, only 40 minutes away from the busy tourist spots of the coast. The village offers excellent shops for food, a weekly market (Mondays), pharmacy, bank, several bars and restaurants, laundry/dry cleaner and wine cooperative. It also has a tourist office offering excellent information about the area.

The area: The house is situated less than 1 kilometre from Flayosc, 5 kilometre west of Draguignan, 1 hour from Nice Airport. Only 40 minutes away from the sandy beaches of the St. Tropez bay and the dramatic scenery of Gorges de Verdon, the Grand Canyon of Europe. Perched medieval villages, olive mills, daily markets, wine tasting and first class gourmet restaurants. There are 15 challenging golf courses within an hour's drive.

This house was the perfect 'get away from it all' place. It was peaceful and remote, though only a ten minute walk to the village. The village had all the shops and restaurants you would need, including a great restaurant called La Salle A Manger.

The pool at this house was fantastic. It caught the sun all day and had a fantastic view.

I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Wonderful villa

We spent a week at the Oliveraie Carasse, and wished we could have stayed there all summer... The large pool is very well maintained, and provides an amazing view of the gentle sloping hills of Provence. Our favorite was having dinner in the shade of the large olive tree, right off the kitchen.

Even though the house does not have air conditioning, the stone walls kept the interior nice and cool.

Francine made us feel very welcome at the property, and we wholeheartedly can recommend this villa, especially to families with children.

Relaxation and Charm

This is a wonderful property for pure relaxation. The pool is enormous and very well maintained. The views are dramatic and the house well looked after and very functional. Plenty of shady spots throughout the olive trees - essential for summer afternoons. Some really interesting plants in the garden too! You'll be very hard pressed to find a more friendly Provencal village than Flayosc - the people are charm itself and the range of food shopping in the village means you won't have to visit a supermarket elsewhere. Hats off to the Cafe de la Midi - their welcome made me feel like a local.

We absolutely loved th house. It has a great view and is really well set out. We visited the village many times for lunches and dinners and the people at the restaurants were particulary welcoming. Flayosc is one of the nicest places any of us have ever been to. Our friends will all be hearing about Flayosc.
