The manager will come to meet you promptly once you have arrived at the villa. If you are not there when he arrives, and he makes a second trip there is a charge of 40 Euros payable to the manager. Please do not call BEFORE you arrive at the villa, as traffic is unpredicatable especially in high season, and the Manager will not wait for you.

Prior to 90 days, Deposit fees are refunded subject to re-rental of property for the period reserved, minus 25% of the deposit amount, to promote the property .

Cancellations received inside of 60 days are subject to the full rent.

Rentals of 3 weeks or more are subject to the above conditions with the exception; 37.5% of the total rent is due 90 days prior to arrival and the remainder 37.5% is due 60 days prior to arrival.

Travel and Cancellation insurance is recommended, it is offered through holiday rental

We stayed in Shirley and Guy's villa for 2 weeks in April 2011. We liked it a lot, so much that we decided to come back this last October for another week, during the kid's fall break. The villa has everything for a great vacation: Pool, several sitting areas for shade or sun, all overlooking the mediterranean. It has all the amenities to be comfortable and is decorated to feel at home. Beaches are within walking distance and all the attractions from St. Tropez to Menton are within a short drive.

We stayed at Shirley's house in Oct. during our tour of Europe. Our stay was spectacular. We had all the comforts of home with an added touch of . Her house is really beautiful and so comfortable. The nearby grocer supplied us with ample fixings for evening BBQ's on the deck during sunset viewing which turned the evening sky and ocean view into a gorgeous display and perfect ending to each day. We spent our days at the nearby beaches and visiting nearby towns. All of her suggestions and advice were essential for making our visit smooth and enjoyable. John Pierre's help with our arrival and check in was so appreciated after a long train ride. The beds were most comfortable and I really enjoyed the shower massage after a long day of sightseeing. There are so many details to consider and Shirley seemed to have them all covered. Our trip to the south of France to Agay was a highlight on our European vacation. If I have the chance to return I would love to stay here again.

“La Bonne Etoile” was the place we wanted to come back since we visited the villa first time three years ago. So much we were impressed with standard of accommodation: good facilities, tasteful decorations, cosy garden and pool, fantastic. We loved the amazing views and surroundings you would never tire of!

This time we found the villa even better - refreshed and refurbished. The new manager at the villa, Mr Terrie, is extremely helpful, friendly and well organised! We had a fabulous holiday! Thank you very much!

Truly a home away from home!
The beautiful red rocks in this area reminded us very much of Sedona, Arizona. Agay was an easy train ride to Antibes and Nice. We did have a car for other daily jaunts to Cannes, St. Paul de Vence, Eze, Monaco, St. Raphael, St. Tropez and Marseille to name a few of the many places we ventured. What was so nice was we were able to come back in the evening, cook dinner and sleep in our "own" bed. It was very quiet at night so no people or road noise which we've encountered when staying at many hotels.
I had fresh butter croissants most mornings which were purchased from the French bakery a short 10 minute walk away. And fresh French pastries/dessert most evenings too. My husband really enjoyed the single cup coffee maker as each cup was freshly brewed. The new refrigerator with ice maker was very handy and the outside barbecue was easy to use for our steaks and chicken dinners.
The home was nicely furnished and decorated with a stunning view of the Mediterranean, totally clean upon our arrival with a full kitchen of any appliance imagined, nice dishes and flatware, bookshelves with an ample supply of books, Wi fi, a flat screen television with an English speaking station, washer and dryer - what more could anyone ask for!
A very relaxing home and logistically a perfect location from which to explore the French Riviera/Cote D/Azur and Provence. Definitely a place to stay again and highly recommended.

We could not have been happier with the villa and location, and were very well looked after by the helpful and accomodating caretaker, Monsieur Terrier. We stayed with 4 girls between 11 and 17, and all had a lovely time. The villa was clean, really well equipped and is even more lovely in reality than on the website. It's only a couple of minutes walk from a beautiful bay with great snorkelling, and a huge rock to jump from into clear waters where we saw an octopus, fish and soft corals. Ideal location for independant teenagers within walking distance of good range of shops and activities, eg kayak, windsurfing, parascending, boat hire, and relaxing for the parents! We would not hesitate to recommend both the area and the villa.

Recommended for: Families with Teenagers
