Les Citronniers, elegant 40s villa with private pool nr Grasse

My family stayed in Les Citronniers villa in August 2012. The combination of perfect location (in Grasse suburb, between Nice and Cannes), spectacular sea views, full serenity, fully equipped house, highly organised maintenance incl. garden/pool/cleaning service, fast Wi-Fi accessible all around- and even outside house, really big and smartly designed pool with all necessary filters, self-cleaning systems and even alarm preventing small children entering the water being non observed by parents, made our holidays absolutely unforgettable. Another important factor is nice and responsive owner. The owner has always been very polite to me, gave me very clear and direct explanations in timely manner to all my questions. I felt myself very heartily expected and received. The villa by itself is a very good sample of architectural object in Mediterranean style with azure-coloured shutters, French windows (from ceiling to floor), forged furniture and tiled floors. The fantastic advantage is a big terrace in the upper level before pool level. Sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine, watching the lights of Cannes distinctively seen from the villa in 15 km distance, and breathing the air full of sea and pine smells will make your holidays unique. I highly recommend Les Citronniers villa as a place of your temporal stay in Cote d’Azur.

Our second visit was just as pleasurable as the first. The villa and pool are beautifully kept and surrounded by a charming garden. The view from the terrace is lovely and we spent many an evening enjoying a glass of wine while counting the stars in a cloudless sky. There is plenty to see and do with Grasse, Cannes, Nice, Valbonne and many other delightful places nearby. A car is a must for sightseeing. The owners provide excellent customer service and are a pleasure to deal with.

my wife, daughter & I spent a week at the Villa des Citronniers - it was not long enough. The villa is well equipped for a family inside and out (the pool is a boon whether to relax in or take exercise). It is ideally situated on rising land well away from the local main road with views of Grasse, and and lots of greenery, across to Cannes and the Med'. The location gives easy access to both hills/mountains and to the coast (Cannes, Antibes, Nice, Monaco, Menton and even Italy. There are plenty of places to eat out, take-away or to do your own grocery shopping. We wont stay anywhere else when we visit the area again.
