This flat is very well furnished throughout with very good taste and a very well equipped kitchen and bathroom, flat screen TV, DVD, WiFi etc. Maison Picco is perfectly positioned, very near the sea, a ten minute walk from the old town with its beautiful beach and lively restaurants, it is close to the station and is very well served with several bus routes, so perfect for ‘car-less’ couples like us! There are several supermarkets within walking distance and all the amenities of a busy town including a lively indoor market. Menton is superbly placed to visit other parts of the Côte d’azur, Monaco and Italy. We thoroughly recommend the flat and Menton itself with its fantastic climate. We will definitely return!

Well-appointed, well-positioned

A very well-appointed, clean and warm apartment. The building is very attractive, the lift works extremely well and the bread baked downstairs is first-rate. From the wide-screen TV, the Wi-Fi and the crockery, everything was first-class. Positioned just one row back from the sea and a wide variety of excellent restaurants, the apartment is very close to the dividing Avenue separating Roquebrune-Cap-Martin from Menton where the parking starts to become free.

It is only a short, pleasant stroll either alongside the sea or via attractive shopping streets to the Old Town with it's eclectic mix of restaurants, snack-bars and gift shops.

For cleanliness, convenience and the service provided by the owner and his representative on the spot, I can only say "Thank You, Very Much."

A wonderful week in Menton

You really don't need a car when you are staying in the middle of everything, but we had access to a rental car, and there was no problem finding parking. Situated so close to the public beach, which was very neat and proper, only 3 minutes walk from the apartment! Every morning we woke up with wonderful scents from the bakery on the bottom floor, which actually had the best croissants we ever tasted! People in the building were nice and friendly, and that part of Menton was ideal for living, it was quiet and still you felt that you were in the center of town, the typical grocery stores, small shops in the street and surrounding blocks. The old part of the city was 15 minutes away, walking distance definitely! Lots of restaurants, and our favorite one was in the square. The atmosphere was relaxed, and perfect for a holiday for a couple!

The apartment was nice and clean, the bathroom huge and the kitchen well equipped. The beds were really good and the apartment overall very nice. We like cooking and finding fresh vegetables and foodstuff was easy and eating home occasionally was really nice.

We can definitely recommend this to couples that like to have a cozy but comfortable

A perfect location

We found the apartment to be very comfortable, light and airy , with a well equipped kitchen and great positioning for all the local amenities. On the ground floor there is a bakery, grocers, butchers and florist. Not 2 minutes away there is a supermarket and a short walk will find you experiencing the old town and indoor market where you will find an abundance of fresh french produce, including locally caught fish.

The train station is also within walking distance. You can either grab a train to the fantastic sights of Monte Carlo or in the other direction, to the spectacular Italian coastline and local street markets in Bordighera or ventimiglia.

The beach is 2 minutes away and runs parallel with the apartments.

The local manager was extremely helpful both on our arrival and departure. We found the apartment to be very clean and well maintained.

We will definitely return to Menton and this lovely, home from home apartment.

Excellent location and facilities

The location of this apartment is great - you have everything in walking distance. The pastry shop, the butcher and fresh vegetable and fruits small shop are just outside your building.
The apartment is very clean and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. The beach is 2 minutes walk. It is very quiet and the beds are very comfortable.
We had a great time exploring Menton and all the surrounding towns and villages. This part of France is idyllic.
The lady that is responsible for the check in is so nice and helpful. We hope to come back soon.
