Trehanoo house and cottage annexe are situated between Polzeath and Daymer Bay on the beautiful North Cornwall coast, the perfect accommodation to enjoy this famous holiday area.

They are minutes from the cliff path leading either to the surfing beach of Polzeath, or the many rock pools of Greenaway, ideal for crabbing, and on to the miles of sand at Daymer Bay, heaven for sandcastles and windsurfing. Trehanoo is only 2 miles from Rock beach for sailing, water skiing, fishing trips and the ferry to Padstow. There are also 2 golf courses within 2 miles, St Enedoc and Roserrow. Trehanoo house accommodates 8 people in comfort and is set in a large garden with beautiful rural views of St Minver and lowlands in the foreground and the Bodmin moor peaks of Roughtor and Brown Willy in the distance. The lawned garden incorporates a terrace and raised decking off the kitchen. The totally separate annexe accommodates 4/5 people and is set in a small, lawned garden with a patio and car park

The camel estuary provides fantastic water skiing conditions, with wind shelter from most directions.

The ski school is fully equipped to cater for all standards of skiing and wakeboarding. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a competitive skier, our qualified and enthusiastic instructors are available to assist you in fulfilling your potential

We recommend lessons of 15mins. per person.(Minimum length of lesson 30mins.) Additional boats can be used to cater for large numbers of people. All instruction is individually directed and therefore mixed ability lessons can take place. Wetsuits are available for hire and buoyancy aids provided. Consent forms must be signed by an adult for under 18 year olds.

A bungalow with views from the south facing windows in the kitchen and sitting room to the moors beyond, in a quiet secluded garden with a high hedge for privacy. A patio area with sturdy table and chairs, and a gated entrance with the car parking within. Parking for 1 car. A cosy sitting room with a comfortable sofa and 2 chairs and a kitchen dining room. Combi TV/Video, DVD and stereo. One double bedroom 4' bed, one twin room 3' camp beds and a camp bed in the sitting room. For the extra holiday factor, £12.50 per head gets the beds made up with freshly laundered duvet covers and a bath and hand towel supplied. The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath. Coin operated electricity meter (in summer unlocked ie no extra cost) and storage heaters. Cleaning is included from 2011.

A lovely place, in a brilliant location

We're just back from a wonderful week at the Trehanoo Annexe and had a great time. The location is just brilliant - you can walk to Polzeath beach in five to 10 minutes (depending how many surfboards, small people, etc) you are carrying. I've been going on holidays to Cornwall on and off for years and one thing that always stresses me out during high season is having to be strategic about car parking places. Not so here. We were able to gaily stroll to the beach whenever we wanted, and nip down for cheeky surfs at the end of the day or early in the morning. I had a beautiful walk along the coastal path to Daymer bay and St Enodoc's church, and we had some great family trips to Padstow via the ferry from Rock (get to the car park early in high season) and to Crealy Adventure Park. The annexe itself had everything we needed and was comfy, clean and quiet. We did, I'll confess, spend quite a lot of time just chilling out and watching the Olympics on telly. I'm sure we'll be back.

Excellent location. Perfect for trips to the beach (takes about 5 mins down the hill slightly longer back up...)

Lovely garden which would have been great if the temperature was above freezing but as it was worked well for drying wetsuits.

House was comfortable and had everything we needed (particularly warm duvets). Shower isn't the greatest but is hot so not the end of the world.

We had a great time and will likely be back in the very near future.

...We can't find anything wrong with the shower! It's a Mira Sport, mid range electric shower.

Perfect for my week

I booked the annexe for almost a week as I was working nearby. I found the property and the area was all as described on line. It was clean and ideal for my needs at the time and good value for the area. I would definitely consider returning here and booking the annexe and/or the cottage for a family holiday. The area is lovely but a bit pricey, however with quality to match.

Little Blue House

Small and compact with everything one would need. Ideal location for the beach and the lovely coastal walks. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Little Blue House to anyone who wanted to get away and relax.

Had a fantastic time staying at the Trehanoo Annexe. Great location near to pubs and the beach and great restaurants. Had the hotest curry ever at Cafe India with great views watching the surfers. Visited Padstow by getting the ferry from Rock and also spent a lot of time on Polzeath beach body boarding. Would definately come back and stay again!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
