Delightful Grade II listed three-storey property converted into two splendid apartments and situated in unspoilt and undiscovered Appledore where nearly all the village is a conservation area.

Just outside the window the river Torr and Torridge meet and make their way to the Atlantic Ocean.

Watch ferries pleasure craft and fishing boats pass by.

Purchased by the owners ten years ago the apartments have undergone a major scheme of refurbishment and have been finished to a very high standard.

Appledore has seven pubs/restaurants, Post Office, convenience store, several art galleries and delicatessens. Ferry to Lundy Island from nearby Bideford.

'We are home and stepping off cloud nine. Your cottage was by far the highlight of our trip. We visited Ireland and Scotland but we could have stayed at Appledore for more time than we did.

We think this is by far the best property we have stayed in Appledore and would definitely stay here in the future very high standard of furnishing

West Apartment is situated on the first and second floor. Views from this apartment are quite breathtaking. Basically comprising:- entrance hall with stairs to first floor, twin bedded room with superb sea views, dining kitchen with bay window enjoying splendid views, family bedroom with king size bed and single, bathroom with full suite and shower cubicle. Stairs up to top floor lounge with huge picture window giving uninterrupted views of the estuary, Braunton Burrows and out to sea.

Fantastic views and top class accommodation.

Views so good we never watched the television.

Please swap your house for ours in Yorkshire.

The apartment was one of the best self catering places we have stayed in.

We've just had a fantastic week in Appledore. The appartment was perfect, with the most amazing views. Two nice pubs just a stones throw away, was an added bonus, both serving great meals. Bensons restaurant was also good if you fancy a treat. We walked to Bideford along the Coastal path, Cycled along the Tarka Trail. Visited Clovelly and the Hartland Peninsula, went to a Beer Festival in Barnstable with live music, great days out. The weather wasn't great but that didn't matter. we'll be back soon I hope.
