Holidaymakers looking to get away to a very scenic area with many things for visitors to do should try the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee area. Located in the U.S state of New Hampshire in the north east of the country this area offers wonderful scenery and year round entertainment. The 10 mile long Sunapee Lake has boat ramps with sailing, canoeing and kayaking popular pastimes on the water here. June, July and August are the warmest months in this part of New Hampshire with an average high of around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures in January and February can dip as low as 5 degrees Fahrenheit but average out at about 20. The rainfall across the year is quite even with an average of about 2 inches in February to a highest of 3.6 inches in august.
Logan International Airport in Boston Massachusetts is approximately 100 miles from Sunapee and has numerous flights to and from international cities. These include Dublin, Toronto, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Rome, London-Heathrow, Amsterdam, Madrid, Frankfurt, Munich and Zurich as well as many other U.S cities. Passengers can get a connecting flight with Cape Air to Lebanon Municipal Airport, which is approximately 30 miles from Sunapee. Both airports have car rental and taxi services available.
