2 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 6 comfortably, full air conditioned

Escape to Protaras, Cyprus and enjoy the seclusion of our beautiful luxury mountainside villa. The villa is situated on the Ayia Elias hillside, overlooking the vibrant resort of Protaras. The villa is fully air conditioned and has one double and one twin bedroom, and sleeps up to eight people (two double bed settees in lounge). It has a fully fitted kitchen, including a washing machine; television and DVD player. Outside, at the front, it benefits from a pool (which can be heated in winter at extra cost), a Jacuzzi, sun loungers and gas barbecue. The back garden of the villa is astroturfed and stocked with local plants, and faces the undeveloped mountain. A 15 minute walk(or 3 minute drive) takes you down into Protaras, which has two blue flag beaches offering watersports, many gift shops and a multitude of restaurants. The nearest town, Paralimni, is easily reached (about five minutes by car) for year-round shopping and sightseeing.

We have holidayed in this part of Cyprus for several years and loved the quiet location of the villa which still allowed easy access to the Protaras resort.

What makes this villa unique

The villa is situated on the side of the mountain, away from the busy main roads, and we loved the blue and yellow villas in the development each with their own character. We love having the covered area outside, so we can always eat in the shade right next to the pool.

The villa is situated on the quiet hillside overlooking the popular resort of Protaras. Protaras is based around Fig Tree Bay, a blue flag beach, offering a variety of activities at several water sports and diving centres. There are lively bars and restaurants serving good food from around the world from traditional Cypriot mezes to worldwide cuisine. The boardwalk along the beach has recently been developed, so there are new snack bars, drinks bars and cafes right next to the sand. Most Cypriots love children so most restaurants and bars are family-friendly, and it is common to see large family groups out for their evening meals. Protaras is linked to Ayia Napa, Larnaca and Paralimni by an efficient bus service. For trips further afield, the Cyprus Tourism Organisation offer excellent guided trips to places like Nicosia and Lefkara. There are several car hire shops in Protaras and roads are generally quiet and easy to drive on.

Taking a boat trip to Kavo Greko and Famagusta is highly recommended. Diving into crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean is an unmissable experience, as is viewing the ghost town of Famagusta.

What can I say, this villa is very well looked after and in great condition. Very well put together and everything in good working order.
The area is lovely and just the right positioning from the town, close enough to get to quickly and far enough for peace in the evening. Great for family's with the pool, hot tub and DVD player and lots of space to play outside. Everone that looks after the villa was so friendly and very helpfull but not imposing. We will definatly be back.

Hi, Just wanted to say a big thankyou to you both. We stayed in the villa with another couple for a fortnight in June 2008. When we arrived we were bowled over. The villa was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Amazing views of The Sea, Ayios Elias Church & The Famagusta Hills. The location was nice and close to town (protaras) also. In fact, everything was perfect. One suggestion would be to leave a small note for future guests informing of how to operate the pool filter & lights and or days/times that the pool cleaners & gardeners will be appearing. We will be recommending this villa to family & friends and we will also definitely be coming back to stay ourselves sometime in the future. (Just let me know if you ever want to sell up...!) Thankyou for helping us have a memorable holiday... Ben & Lynda 2008
