Things to see and do: This area provides an excellent base to explore ancient archaelogical sites as well as the usual tourist attractions eg. shops, bars, water park, etc. An hour's drive takes you to the Troodos mountains where there is a wealth of beautiful scenery. A trip to the famous monastery is a must. The Akamus is a conservation area where at certain times the sea turtles come and lay their eggs at Lara Beach. In this area there are many nature trails to explore. Off roading in 4 wheel drive vehicles is very popular also. Not far from Coral Bay is the tiny fishing harbour of Agios Georgios where you will see facinating sea caves. The fish tavernas here are particularly popular.Aphrodites Rock and Pissouri are worth visiting. Mini cruises to Egypt and the Pyramids are available with ships leaving from Limassol.

Eating out: Eating out in Cyprus is reasonable with a variety of restaurants and tavernas to suit all tastes and pockets.

Golf & Ski-ing: There can be no better area than this for golfers seeking golf holidays in the warmth of the Eastern Mediterranean. There are 3 challenging world class golf courses within a short drive. Aphrodite Hills is a unique 5 Star Award Winning Golf Course, with magnificent views from 2 plateaux, 300m high. It plays to a Par 71 and measures 6,665 metres. It is only 2 min from the Paphos/Limassol motorway. Tsada Golf Club is just 20 mins from Paphos, 550 metres high. It plays to a Par 72, and measures 6,120 metres. The Secret Valley Golf Course is 18k east of Paphos lying within a scenic valley with panoramic views. It plays to a Par 72 and measures 6,120 metres. All these locations, being high, ensure cool breezes during the summer months and of course Cyprus is almost guaranteed wall to wall sunshine from April to November.There is now a driving range a ten minute drive away.

This house is situated at the edge of the Akamas peninsular only a 30 minute drive from Paphos Airport. Here you can enjoy rural tranquillity yet you are close to the traditional village of Peyia & a short drive from Paphos with its unlimited shopping & entertainment options. A five minute drive leads to the beautiful Coral Bay with its two sandy beaches where you can relax or partake in the watersports eg. jet-ski hire, banana boat rides, paragliding. Also within a few minutes drive are the spectacular Sea Caves and the tiny fishing harbour of Agios Georgios. In both Coral Bay and Peyia you will find shops, tavernas, restaurants, bars, banks, internet cafe and supermarkets and from Peyia you have easy access to Polis & the fishing village of Latchi where there is a marina and great fish restaurants. For golfers you are within a short drive from no less than 3 World Class golf courses plus a driving range only ten minutes away. Remember the earlier you book, the cheaper the flights!

Ski: The weather is usually bright and sunny and many local residents wear little more than light clothes and sandals! There are six different ski runs on four different slopes all of Alpine standard and varying in length from 100-500m. Sun Valley 1 for beginners, Sun Valley 2 for more proficient skiers and North Face 1 & 2 for the more experienced. Although the Troodos ski resort can never compete with the European ones it is nevertheless popular as it is friendly & welcomes skiers of all levels of experience. The atmosphere is pleasantly relaxed as skiers can comfortably walk around with old skis and clothes - no designer trendsetters here! You can hire everything you need, skis, snowboards and toboggans

Notes

  • The price is the weekly rate for the property for up to 4 persons. Rates include air conditioning, electricity and water. We ask for these to be used sensibly and reserve the right to make a charge if not. The villa will be thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival. Dates can be reserved for 48 hours to allow for travel arrangements, flights etc to be made. A non-refundable deposit of 1/3 or £100 (whichever is the greater) of the total rental price is required for reservations with the balance of payment required 8 weeks before departure. We can also rent part weeks by day. Payment can be made by credit/debit card or bank transfer. We advise that travel insurance is taken out in case of unexpected cancellation. We do not accept arrivals before 4 pm and we ask for the villa to be vacated by 11.00 am on the day of departure. If the property is not booked on your day of departure you may stay until you need to go to the airport.
    COUPLES AND FAMILIES ONLY.
  • A change of freshly laundered bedlinen and towels is provided for a stay of more than 7 days. Beach towels are provided also, saving weight in your suitcase.
    A basic 'Welcome Pack' of water, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, eggs, butter can be provided for late arrivals if requested for the sum of €15, paid locally.
  • We recommend hiring a car for the duration of your stay. This can be arranged through us if you wish, with delivery and collection at Paphos airport or the house. We can also arrange airport transfers from Paphos or Larnaca airports. We do understand that not all visitors will want to hire a car on their holiday. This is not a problem, as most facilities are available in Peyia village, within a few minutes walk of the house. There are taxis and a regular bus service to Coral Bay and Paphos. Part of the reason we recommend car hire is that in the height of the season it is too hot to walk very far!

  • We have one family bathroom upstairs, set between the two bedrooms comprising wash-basin, wc, and shower over bath and on the ground floor we have a cloakroom with wash basin and wc.

The windows have shutters to ensure a really good night's sleep to avoid the brilliant early morning sunshine bursting through and also the windows have voile curtains to ensure privacy during the day. The double room has a balcony overlooking the stunning gardens & pool, & the twin room has views of the mountains & wonderful sunsets over the sea.

Notes:
STRICTLY NON-SMOKING inside the property. Split-level kitchen area with oven, hob, extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster, iron, iron/board, clothes maiden & hairdryer. Only suitable for elderly or infirm if stairs can be managed (bedrooms on 1st floor). Beach towels and hairdryer are provided, saving you luggage space. A safe is provided plus a cool box for your picnics. 2 sunbeds are provided plus there are sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool. Flights and/or airport transfers can be arranged either from Paphos or Larnaca, also car-hire and sightseeing excursions. The villa will be thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival. There is no maid service during your stay, however there will be enough linen and towels for changes. Special requests catered for ie. cots, high chairs, etc. A basic 'Welcome Pack' for late arrivals can be provided for €12 paid locally.

Our 2 week stay at this lovely town house in Pegia was brilliant. It was very comfortable, clean and well maintained and everything we were looking for. There is communal pool surrounded by lovely gardens and has plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. The town house itself has a small patio and garden which is a suntrap, it was lovely to get out of bed have breakfast on the patio and then go into the garden to sunbath absolutely delightful, peaceful and relaxing. There are plenty of tavernas to suit every taste both locally and in Coral bay. You are about 8 miles from Kato Paphos which has a brilliant coastal walk that leads to the harbour. And for those who want to see more of the area, visit Latchi a quiet little fishing village about 20 miles away which also has a beautiful coastal walk and the drive over the hills to get there is well worth the visit. Pissouri village and jetty on the way to Limassol is also worth a visit, very peace and the views are to die for, it’s so relaxing. Both places have good restaurants and bars worth a try.

We had a lovely time at Eva Gardens. Yes, it was very hot but we were not complaining.

Lovely apartment and spotless! Enjoyed the village location within easy access to beaches and the spectacular Troodos Mountains. Pool was a welcome relief at the end of a very hot day sightseeing, often having it to ourselves. Would recommend the apartment and Cyprus to friends. Thank you.

An attractive town house in a quite peaceful location. The pool is lovely, and even though we stayed during half term, we had this all to ourselves.The house was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The owners provided excellent directions on how to get to the there, The house is situated in a very quiet, residential location, but with easy access to local supermarkets, bakeries, the excellent beaches of coral bay just 5k.

Loved our 2 week stay at this lovely apartment in Pegia. The apartment was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was appreciated on hot nights. The beautiful clean pool is set in a very tranquil environment, surrounded by a lovely garden and has plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Corrallis beach, just 5 minutes drive away, is a very nice sandy beach and well worth a visit for sun worshippers. Watching the sun go down at St Georges bay, just a short drive along the coast, is magic. There are plenty of tavernas to suit every taste both locally and in Coral bay. If you want something special visit Neos. A very relaxing holiday - can't wait to book again

Owner's Response: We are very happy that so many of our guests make return visits - a testament in itself - would just like to mention that the property is a townhouse covering 2 floors - the bedrooms and main bathroom being upstairs. Nearly everyone describes it as an apartment which may be misleading, as to me an apartment, unless a duplex, is on one level.
