Things to do on holiday in Limassol, Cyprus

Limassol is the island’s centre of the wine-making industry, and the annual ten day Wine Festival in September is essential entertainment if you are staying in a villa in Limassol at the time. Limassol Castle is also of huge interest, as it is supposed to be the sight of the marriage of Richard the Lionheart in 1191. The Medieval Museum of Cyprus in its grounds holds all the information needed. The Archeological Museum, Folk Art Museum and Municipal Gardens and zoo can also be found here.

The nightlife in Limassol is meant to be the best in Cyprus too.
