The scuba diving is among the best in the world, with vast, plunging coral reefs, a vast range of sea life and amazing visibility mean that divers arrive from all corners of the earth. If you don’t want to dive, there are still many ways to explore the treasures that lie beneath, whether in a little submarine or by use of a snorkel. In fact, all water sports thrive from Cayman Islands cottages, especially deep sea fishing.

There are an enormous number of attractions for such a small island. Hell’s spectacular rock formations leave little confusion as to how the region came by its name, and the flat sands of Run Point, the eye-catching blowholes and Stingray City are all of great appeal. Cayman Brac is an exceptional place to go hiking, with many caves to investigate, around 150 bird species to spot (including the incredibly rare Cayman Parrot) and many views that will remain with you forever.

The Cayman Islands are made up of three islands, Grand Cayman, easily the largest, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. Grand Cayman is an island of spectacular natural beauty, where luxury comes as standard and facilities are extensive. George Town, the islands’ capital, is home to some of the Caribbean’s best shopping, best cuisine and most exciting nightlife. The staggering Seven Mile Beach, Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens and the National trust Mastic Trail are also high on the list of attractions from Grand Cayman villas.

Little Cayman is a tiny, sparsely populated island, offering absolute solitude under the Caribbean sun. The untouched tropical forests of Little Cayman are home to a great range of beautiful creatures, including many rare birds and colourful iguanas. The beaches are empty, the fishing sensational and the diving absolutely sensational. There are some 50 individual dive sites around Little Cayman, with Bloody Bay Marine Park and the sheer wall of coral from Jackson Point leading the way.

Cayman Brac is home to the most breath-taking scenery in the Cayman Islands. Littered with caves and grottos, Cayman Brac is particularly good for Caribbean bird watching, potholing and scuba diving, with superb wreck dives available, especially on the sunken Russian frigate, the M/V Captain Keith Tibbetts.
