Villa Rosa in October

Villa Rosa was perfect for our much needed break from hectic work schedules and the cold weather in England.
And what a break it was!
From the initial contact with Pauline the ever helpful owner, through arriving late in the day on the first night, to sadly leaving a week later the whole thing could not have been more perfect.
The villa provides you with everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay.
Suprisingly spacious inside and private on the outside with its walled boundary.
The two good sized bedrooms and their seperate bathrooms provided individual privacy and personal space for our 18 year old daughter and oursleves.
Wi-fi worked fine, it's no rocket ship speed wise but more than good enough to keep in touch with things back home, tv gave you the essential home tv channels so we could keep up with our Strictly Come dancing fix, and the DVD player provided the chilled out film for the evening.
The pool and the sun soaked terraces outside provided the relaxation time.
We liked the fact that Villa Rosa is in a quiet residencial area with the mini-market supplying the daily food and drink requirements and the few bars and eateries there for when we didn't fancy cooking at night only a two minute walk away, yet you can jump in the car and a few minutes drive be in the busier yet very pleasant Playa Blanca town centre.
We would definitely reccomend the heated pool option, it doesn't make it a sauna but does make it pleasant, go for the car hire as well and don't be afraid of getting there in one piece, the directions Pauline provided were spot on, but it then allows you the freedom throughout your stay to get out and about if you wish, and take in the quite breathtaking roads/coast/landscape that Lanzarote offers.
We had a great stay in Villa Rosa and we are sure anybody else will too, it is a shame that the end of the holiday came all too quick, so we had to head off back to England, work, and cold weather.

Thank you so much for spending so much time with your review and an honest opinion on the villa and area.
It is so good when guests put a review on the villa as it gives future guests true information on the area and the facilities.
The car hire is so cheap in Lanzarote and the low price of petrol and the Island is so quiet to drive
around, so even if you are not used to driving on the other side of the road like I was once.
I always say to myself "the driver has to be on the side closest to the white line in middle of the road" and even after 7 years of driving in Spain I sometimes have to remind myself. You cannot go wrong if you remember this.
