SPACIOUS, CHARMING, OVERLOOKS GOLDEN GATE PARK, PRIVATE DECK, WI-FI

Having just returned from a week's stay at the Edwardian I wanted to put in writing what a lovely apartment this is. So many old original features but with all modern conveniences also included.
The property was very clean when we arrived and extremely well equipped with 2 TVs (one being a huge HDTV), DVD player etc and the kitchen has every kind of utensil and appliance you could ever need. Everything was in full working order with a set of instructions available.
The beds and sofas were all extremely comfortable, it really was like being in a proper home rather than staying in some soul-less rental property.
In terms of location, it couldnt be better either. You are only a short, easy bus service into downtown San Francisco and all the major attractions but you are far enough away to escape from the noise and hustle as well. The Golden Gate Park is literally at the end of the street and provides a real sense of being in 'real' San Francisco with locals walking their dogs and playing with their kids in this beautiful park. We spent a day there just wandering around and recharging our batteries.
You can also easily get down to the ocean on the bus which is another nice way to spend a few hours relaxing watching guys surfing - should the weather behave!
There are plenty of places to eat/drink locally with Haight Ashbury being just a couple of blocks away. We also followed the recommendation of a leaflet left at the apartment and ate at the Abacus chinese just a minutes' walk away - the best Chinese food we've ever tasted - superb!
The service from the management company, particularly our represenative Alysa, was exemplary both in the lead-up to our stay and during our stay. Everything was handled quickly and professionally but with such friendliness also, with advice and guidance and details on the weather and local amenties given.
I really cant praise the service we received enough and would definitely recommend the apartment as the place to stay for a trip to San Francisco. We had a most memorable holiday in this beautiful city made all the more enjoyable by our accommodation, it was also so nice to feel that we had a friendly, reliable local person to call on should there be any kind of difficulties (which there werent), it took so much of the stress away that can be associated with long-haul holidays.
