Winters are warm and pleasant with temperatures around 28°C (82°F). The rainy season is from June to November although the area can have tropical showers at any time.
Travel to Belize
Belize holiday rentals are served by a number of international airports, the main one being the Philip Goldson International (BZE) Airport in Belize City. This airport is about 30 minutes drive by taxi from the centre of Belize City, at Ladyville. The airport bus service is infrequent and unreliable. There is also a Municipal Airport (TZA) one mile from the city center which mainly has flights to the outlying cayes (islands). Dangriga (DGA) Airport is a small airport in the centre of the country on the Caribbean coast. San Pedro (SPR) Airport serves San Pedro and Ambergris Caye with domestic flights to Belize City, Corozal and several cayes. Corozal (CZH) Airport, also known as Ranchito Airport, serves the north of the country. Airlines serving Belize include American Airlines, Avianca, Continental, Delta, Taca, United, Thomson Airways and Maya Island Air.
