  • Weekend = 3 nights / Midweek = 4 nights / Week = 7 nights.
  • How - understand - our prices?
    The house is always rented by one family or group.
    The difference of the price is the number of sleeping rooms which are disposal. We explain: for the price of two to four persons, you have at your disposal the house with the dining room, kitchen, bathroom and two sleeping rooms. For the price of 5 to 6 persons you have at your disposal the house with the dining room, kitchen, bathroom and three sleeping rooms... etc....
    This is logical (obvious) why would 6 persons have to pay more than 2 persons if they get nothing more.
    Accordingly for the price of two to four persons, you have at your disposal two sleeping room but use of the other sleeping room(s) is possible at the supplement (extra).
    The Christmas week and the week of new year is an exception.
    The house is rented in these weeks with all the bedrooms available for 985 independent of the number of guests because of the many demands.

This is a lovely house, lots of character and a tremendous atmosphere. We stayed as a big family group, children and adullts. There is room formeals at the table, comfortable chairs and sofas, a perfectly equipped kitchen and bedrooms that are interesting and curious as are the pictures that are verywere. We loved the cfe Bistrot, bedroom with its attic feel and skylight and high ceiling and the rest of the family had rooms that suited them perfectly.

We recommend Asterix House to anyone who wants to sample the frlavou of Brugges in a typical residence in a typical street and near to the centre of Brugge!

We sahll be back.

Many thanks for a wonderful stay and the fantastic apple tart that was on the table for us as we entered the house. Gret!

Nous avons été très heureux de l'accueil par Gert et satsifaits de la proximité de tous les lieux à visiter dans cette magnifique villes historique de Bruges. Le concert de carillon nous a ravi et les moulins à deux pas pour la promenade du soir super, la grande place, le beffroi...tant de choses à revoir avec plaisir. La maison est tout à fait satisfaisante pour une famille de cinq (deux adultes et trois grands enfants qui ont apprécié la liaison internet; merci.

Charming house, great location

I booked this house for a short stay for 9 of us, mothers and daughters, as the idea of booking a house where we could all be together was much nicer than being separated in hotel rooms. We were not disappointed! When we arrived at the house we were met personally by the owner who offered us a very warm welcome as well as a lovely apple pie and port. He also sat down with us and spent time explaining the area and places to see and eat. The downstairs of the house was much more roomy than the photos show which was a plus especially as there were 9 of us to accommodate. The bedrooms are really charming, cosy and full of character. The stairs are however quite steep although this adds to the character of the property and we had no accidents which was amazing in view of the fact that our ages ranged from mid 40's to 78! Although there is only the one bathroom there is a downstairs toilet and we all managed without too much hardship. As we had 2 cars having a garage was handy and the other car we parked in the nearby underground car park which at 8.70 euros for 24 hours was very reasonable. The location of the property was excellent and a 5/10 minute stroll through the park took us to the beautiful town centre. A brilliant time was had by all and we wouldn't hesitate to book Asterix House again. Highly recommended.

Wir haben das Haus Asterix mit sieben Personen genutzt. Alle haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt und waren sehr von der ausgewählten Einrichtung angetan. Das Ehepaar Dewilde hat sich wirklich sehr viel Gedanken gemacht und bereiten ihren Gästen einen unbeschwerten Aufenthalt in Brügge. Es gab absolut kein Grund zur Klage. Der Ablauf war reibungslos, fair und immer freundlich. Ich würde das Haus Asterix auch meinen Verwandten, Freunden und Bekannten ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen.
Nochmal vielen Dank an das Ehepaar Dewilde für Ihre außerordentliche Gastfreundschaft!
Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Fünf Sterne von uns!

Nice roomy accommodations

We had a nice visit in Brugge and were thrilled to have such cozy, yet roomy accommodations per European standards. Geerd welcomed us at the train station, gave us a nice overview of Brugge, and gave us a great orientation to the house-welcoming us with port, pie and candy. We are a family of 4 and had 2 roomy bedrooms and 2 baths. Also, the biggest, well equipped kitchen we have ever had in Europe, with a full size washer and dryer. It was a 5 minute walk to the center of Brugge and there is a great bakery, butcher and store just steps from the house. I would highly recommend this house while visiting delightful Brugge.
